Lemon Balm Hydrosol

Our organically crafted Lemon Balm Hydrosol,  is steam distilled from the wonderfully fragrant flowers and leaves of the Melissa officinalis herb nurtured in our garden farmacy. It has a refreshing, softly floral, lemon-like, herbaceous aroma, lighter and more floral than Melissa Essential Oil. The herb received the name Melissa because of its sweet, fresh, citrus-like fragrance, which is known to attract bees (Melissa is Greek for honey bee)

Best known for its calming effects on emotional distress, Melissa (Lemon Balm) Hydrosol is also beneficial for general skin care, and makes a soothing addition to room and body sprays. Topically, Lemon Balm Hydrosol may be used as a calming agent for rashes, burns, eczema, poison oak or ivy, and other general irritations. It can also be used as a room spray or in a diffuser to help make a very calming and soothing living space.
