A delicious combination of fragrant rose petals and refreshing spices, Cooling tea is the perfect answer when you’re feeling intense or frustrated. Drunk warm or cool, it helps cool down your mind, body and emotions. This is a particularly nutritive tea for Pitta, for overall strengthening and tonifying. It is a strong brew. If you like, you can dilute it with an additional two cups of water. We add carminative herbs that protect our Agni digestive fire from the damage that comes from excessive cold foods and beverages.

Basically, due to the hibiscus cooling nature it is specially beneficial for pitta predominant prakruti and vrikruti, during pitta time of the day and during pitta stage of life.
Directions:
Bring water to a boil in a stainless steel saucepan. Remove from heat and add herbs. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes or more. Strain, squeezing the tea out of herbs well. Sweeten with a little jaggery or raw honey (do not heat honey above 40 degC. Good hot or cool.
