In this hands on virtual classroom you will learn how to prepare your own tinctures using alcohol as a solvent to extract the herbal medicine constituents out of the plant material.
Tinctures are concentrated liquid herbal extracts made from plants and used as herbal medicine. They are taken orally to relieve a wide range of health issues, or as a proactive way to support specific elements of your wellbeing. In chemistry terms, tinctures are solutions that use alcohol and water (glycerine) as a solvent.
You will receive all ingredients, recipes and a list of equipment prior to the class so we can make everything together.
You will be sent log in details after booking.
FarmacyCo workshops generally book out so this is a great way to be able to join the class no matter where you live in Australia.
International participants will be sent a list of ingredients to purchase prior to class but we cannot send them.
