Join Naomi in conjunction with Alpine Food is Free Project for a morning stroll on the nature cycle path along Pebble Beach in Mt Beauty. The walk will take about an hour and along the way we’ll discover the abundance of food and medicine growing locally.
Learn to identify, how to harvest and use the gifts that nature provide in a relaxed informative session. With your new tools you’ll be able to feel confident to forage yourself in an ethical, safe and sustainable manner.
When we finish we’ll stop for a herbal tea and treat from the FarmacyCo pantry.
Tickets $25
Carers & Kids under 12 free and must still have a ticket.
This is an accessible event, we welcome people of all abilities.
Meet at 10am at the carpark at the start of the trail, opposite The Park caravan park Mt Beauty on Embankment Drive
Donation of 50% of ticket sales go to Gravel Groms, Team Mount Beauty which is a not for profit community group whose goal is to get kids back out into nature while getting fit mountain bike riding. They teach children right down to the Mini Groms group age of about 5, getting little kids back into nature and off smart devices.
